Healthybake’s Farmhouse Rye Sourdough is made with 100% organic stone ground rye flour. This bread combines the nutritional and digestive benefits of sunflower kernels, linseed (flax), sesame seeds, poppy seeds and red lentils. Sunflower seeds are very high in protein, fibre and in vitamin B, while linseed is high in soluble fibre, essential omega 3 fatty acids and is one of the richest sources of lignans. Sesame seeds have a high level of calcium, magnesium, are rich in vitamin A and protein and has a strong antioxidant effect. Poppy seeds and red lentils add to the delicious taste and colour of this bread. Highly seeded breads are known to release glucose more gradually into the blood stream. This bread is vegan friendly, yeast free and soy free.
